PROVIDENCE T.F. GREEN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Providence (PVD) is the closest airport to Newport and is about a 45-minute drive away. This will be the best option for our guests traveling from Florida and a good option for guests coming from Colorado, New York, and Ohio.
Flying into PVD gives you an option to simply Uber to Newport without renting a car. The uber drive is about 45 minutes and can be reserved for around $65.00.
Once in Newport, the town is very walkable, Ubers are readily available, and transportation to wedding events will be provided to you.

BOSTON LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Boston Logan airport is about two hours from Newport and is a good option for those traveling from the West Coast or for those who wish to extend their stays to visit Boston. As one of the largest airports in the US, they have numerous options

FLIGHT INFORMATION
ARRIVING FROM FLORIDA – Non – stop service from TPA – PVD is available on Jet Blue and Southwest Connecting service on Jet Blue, Southwest, Delta, United, American, and Breeze. (note – Breeze flight schedule for Sept is not published yet – keep checking).
NOTE: The best flight option is the Jet Blue flight at 10:00 AM on September 25th & 26th.
AIRLINES FROM CALIFORNIA – Connecting service from LAX to PVD airport is available on Jet Blue, American, Delta, and Southwest. Another option for those traveling from the West Coast would be to fly non- stop to Boston Logan Airport (BOS). Non-stop flights from LAX to BOS are available on Jet Blue, United, and Delta.
Newport is about a two hour drive from Boston so guests may chose to rent a car or book one of the many options like trains, buses, taxis, or Ubers.
AIRLINES SERVING OHIO - Connecting service is available from CLE – PVD on Southwest, American, United, Delta, and Breeze. No non-stop service is available currently but Breeze has not published it’s schedule as of yet. (keep checking)
Newport is a very walkable town; especially if you elect to stay at one of the recommended hotels or within close proximity to them. The downtown Newport district is compact and walking is recommended if you want to visit the wharf district with all the shops and restaurants. Ubers, taxis, and sightseeing trolleys are readily available in downtown Newport of you want to explore beyond downtown. .
