So, the story goes like this - a California coed walks into a dive bar in Cape Cod and meets a handsome Boston boy.  They exchange numbers but, with 4000 miles separating them, they never believed they would see each other again until…… she misses her flight back to school.

He saves the day with an offer of a toothbrush, a sweatshirt and a case of white claw and the seeds of love are planted.  They keep in touch and romance blooms long distance.  Suddenly, a global pandemic descends and they find themselves back on the East Coast locked down in quarantine. They meet each other’s families, share uninterrupted time together, and learn about their many shared interests, values, and goals …… and love grows.

Fast forward, she takes a job in Boston, they find an apartment overlooking the North End, and they begin doing “real life” together and ….. and their bond grows stronger.

And then one day, on a hilltop overlooking the ancient city of Split, Croatia, he get’s down on one knee and asks for her hand in marriage.

This is Chapter One of our love story.
